Leeds Laidlaw Library shortlisted for The SCONUL Library Design Awards

The SCONUL Library Design Awards showcase and celebrate the very best in recent academic library design in the UK and Ireland.

Leeds Laidlaw Library has been shortlisted along with 6 other libraries and the winners will be unveiled at the Library Design Awards event on Tuesday 26th November 2019 at the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds. 

Laidlaw Library at Leeds University was designed by ADP Architecture. The £26m Library provides a stimulating and flexible space for the 31,000 students with 5km of bookshelves as well as 1,000 new study spaces. 

Artform contributed to this project with a bespoke external granite seating, clad in treated iroko, that has expanded the library space and provides a social seating and studying area for the students and members of the local community. To find out more about our Bespoke Solutions CLICK HERE
