Vega Picnic Table

The Vega Picnic Table is a round bench and table set that promotes friendship and socialisation. The Vega encourages face to face conversations, the medium sized set can seat 4-6 adults or up to 8 children. There are two sizes available for both indoor and outdoor use. 

Vega Picnic is a very simple and stringent in its form and design, while being robust too. Thanks to its durability, this product can easily survive by being exposed to even the harshest conditions in schools and urban spaces.

Manufactured from high-pressured laminate and hot galvanised steel, this set is virtually maintenance free making it ideal for schools, playgrounds, and green spaces.

Vega Picnic has been developed in connection with a Danish project: ‘Rush at Skørping School’, and is based on young people not wanting to sit at traditional bench-and-table sets. The Vega Picnic Table was designed in order to change this perception, offering a round shaped bench set, which gives a true café look and feel. The table should be as robust as a classic, rectangular bench set, and yet remain sleek and elegant – appearing attractive for even the pickiest teenagers.
