New design from out-sider, the Loop Up

The Loop Up is a new mushroom shaped bollard and seat that can be installed alone or combined with the Loop Cone Table to make a fun and comfy picnic set. Loop Up creates small, informal seating areas that encourage outdoor socialising and dining. Sitting together has always been the basis of a good talk.

In early Danish history when the vikings ruled, the 'tingstedet' or ‘the place of the law’, played an important role as a venue for talks, lawmaking and diplomatic agreements. People gathered and sat on large stones that were placed in a circle as seats, often with a larger stone in the centre. The Loop Picnic Up is the 'tingsted' of a modern era, as a spot where people can sit together and talk, eat, play and discuss issues.

Loop Picnic is designed by AART Designers from out-sider. They were inspired by small, inverted conical toadstools that stick out from the ground. AART Designers created a soft, round shaped Loop Up as a complement to the rest of the Loop family. 

The plastic seating is maintenance-free and can be recycled at the end of life. It can also be manufactured from 100% recycled material, made from polyethylene plastic, of which 85% comes from internal waste and production surplus, and the extra 15% comes from polyethylene carrier bags. The recycled version is also Nordic Swan Ecolabelled, which promotes circular economy and fulfills the UN’s sustainable development goal no. 12 - Responsible consumption and production.

All Loop products are available in a range of colours, they can brighten up any space and are a great addition to children’s playgrounds.The recycled version is only available in an anthracite variant.
